The Westin Aruba Resort (Adults Only) Palm Beach, Palm Beach

I was pleasantly surprised by the Riu Antillas. The location was breathtaking, with beautiful pools and beach areas, although the dirty and outdated hotel next to it was a downside. The service varied from exceptional to poor, but the facilities were exceptional overall.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location on Palm Beach was great and the service was exceptional, the rooms were a bit outdated and overlooked an alley with dumpsters, lacking maintenance. The dining options were amazing, but the facilities left much to be desired.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms offered a beautiful view, but we had a few issues like a non-functional outlet which made charging our electronics a challenge. The bathroom was fine but could use some freshening up, and there was a strange smell in the hallways. Overall, it was a great vacation and good value, despite some room issues like a broken slider door, leaking fridge, and dirty bathroom.

The hotel offers amazing pool-view rooms and fell short of meeting some expectations, especially in addressing late check-out requests. The location is part of a lively pool area close to the beach but lacks enough working elevators. Dining choices are diverse, and the self-serve buffet impresses guests.

While the rooms show signs of age and delays in check-in could be improved, the dedicated staff members provide outstanding service. Dining options are varied, although the nightly entertainment may be too loud for some.

Upon checking into room 1637, I found it to be very outdated and below the standard I expected from Riu hotels. The ceiling needed attention, which was disappointing. The service, while satisfactory in delivering the perfect lobster thermidor and crab cakes, felt lacking in friendliness and eagerness to please. The location, by the Hyatt and beach attendant, was great, but more effort in accommodation appearance is needed. The dining experience, especially at the Riu Antillas, was delightful, despite the buffet challenges. Overall, the poolside drink cups were a letdown due to their small size and flimsy material.

The hotel offers great ocean and pool views from the rooms, similar to popular chain hotels. However, the constant issue with mold required room changes multiple times. The service staff put in great effort to enhance guests' vacation experience but can be demanding for tips on an all-inclusive stay. The location is ideal for exploring the bustling town nearby, but securing a spot by the pool or beach can be competitive. The dining experience provides a variety of food options, including specialized sections for limited diets.
